Kate Kretz attended The Sorbonne in Paris, earned her BFA from SUNY Binghamton, and her MFA from The University of Georgia. She was BFA Director and an Associate Professor of Art at FIU in Miami for ten years. She currently works in her studio and gives lectures and workshops at various universities.

Hi Kate,
Just checking in to see what you're working on. It's been a while since I stopped by. Can't wait to see the whole painting.
I always find links that interest me on your blog. I went to the link to the Drawing Center Viewing Program, what a great site. Must spend more time there. I don't do much painting or drawing, but I design book covers, often using photography, typography, collage, textures and am always looking for visual inspiration.
