Thanks for the link post. I know not everybody does, but I tend to like "fruitcake", especially when there is a fair amount of nuts in it. It adds texture. But then there are always a hard shell thrown in that cuts your gums, or that bitter pith mixed in, and the only thing to do is to spit it out. Or just not eat fruitcake.
Kate Kretz attended The Sorbonne in Paris, earned her BFA from SUNY Binghamton, and her MFA from The University of Georgia.
