Kate Kretz attended The Sorbonne in Paris, earned her BFA from SUNY Binghamton, and her MFA from The University of Georgia. She was BFA Director and an Associate Professor of Art at FIU in Miami for ten years. She currently works in her studio and gives lectures and workshops at various universities.

so that's what the floral symbology books are for.
Actually, the "Flora Symbolica" book was taken out a few weeks ago because it has gorgeous Pre-Raphaelite Paintings in it, and I have fantasies of using one of the paintings inside as the departure point for a mural in our house.
But it may be one of those "back door" subconscious things.....
