I have two old tungsten bulbs* (3200K) that I have placed in Home Depot clamp lamps to photograph work with my digital camera: these lights seem to get accurate color - somehow. I do not know the mechanics, but the digital responds well to those bulbs.
*remember those little plastic thingies called slides?
These in-progress things are shot on the drawing table without any special lights, but my studio florescent lights are color correct daylight bulbs. I usually don't have trouble when I shoot on my camera stand, just not going set that up 3-4x a day. Sorry, all....
