So... insanely busy. Preparing a talk on my work (putting it into the context of contemporary religious art) for the Southeastern College Art Conference this Fall. I am days away from completing a new Art World Truths piece. I am also doing sketches and beginning a cartoon for a very large, scary new painting, trying to push this embroidery on black velvet forward,
and I'm about a quarter of the way through a new 3D hair embroidery piece.
Waiting for weather to break so we can open the windows around here and smell the Fall air. Have finished a major job in Phase 1 of the living room transformation, Phase 2 will happen after my solo show in Feb. Will post pics this weekend.
