Happy holidays!

Something's got to give, and I apologize that blogging is taking a back seat to actually making art, and dealing with my even more-demanding-than-usual real life. This project is days from being finished:
The hair embroidery will likely be a few more weeks, as I prepare to teach an experimental drawing course at (don't laugh) Catholic University, write the last of ten grants and several exhibition proposals, and prepare for Christmas.

My hair embroideries are included in the forthcoming textbook, "Foundations, the Fundamentals of Art and Design", written by Steven Bleicher, and published by Pearson/Prentice Hall Press. The book will be published in Fall of 2010.
